About us

Biswaloke is a benevolent non-profit earning & non-Govt. organization of Coochbehar district of West Bengal, India. This organization was established in the year January 2007 mainly to promote the folk culture and the poor but genius folk artistes of North Bengal and the adjourning areas of our country. Our mission is to spread the folk culture of this region throughout the world. Apart from that, we are eager to help folklorists and researchers to achieve their purpose. We also intend to promote cultural tourism in North Bengal for the convenience of researchers and folk-lovers. For this purpose we have displayed the names and addresses of travel agents, hotels etc. in our website. You may contact us for your queries, suggestions/opinion by post, e-mail or telephone.
